The El Baix Llobregat tourist area is a land of contrasts and a meeting place for nature, culture, industry and gastronomy. Montserrat Natural Park, a massif that is unique in the world, is as fascinating inside as it is outside. The Cova del Salnitre, a saltpeter cave in the town of Collbató, enables us to take an underground walk through spectacular geological formations. The Llobregat Delta is a wetland, a stopping point for water birds, of great landscape and ecological value, ideal for cycling trips and to enjoy high-quality vegetables. Santa Coloma de Cervelló, home to a church by Gaudí, in the Colònia Güell, is a must for lovers of Catalan Art Nouveau. And the Gavà Mines Archaeological Park offers us the experience of going on an archaeological dig to one of the largest and best-conserved Neolithic sites in Western Europe.

Molins de Rei, 3 - 5 February

This path, which has now been recovered, is the old route between the valley of the river Llobregat and the region of El Penedès. Walked since prehistoric times, the path is almost 11 kilometres in length and is surrounded by interesting Mediterranean flora and fauna.

Discover what life in a mine was like 6,000 years ago. This exceptional archaeological site in El Baix Llobregat, the oldest of its kind in Europe, also features an exhibition to complement the visit.
