El Vallès Oriental

Tourist Brand Catalunya Central

In El Vallès Oriental there are many ways to enjoy your leisure time: nature, thermalism, culture and sports—a whole range of activities for all tastes. El Montseny is a mosaic of Mediterranean and central European landscape types, where climbers will find three mountain areas, the Turó de l’Home and Les Agudes, Matagalls and the Pla de la Calma. The spa town of Caldes de Montbui has a tradition that dates from Roman times and contains several spas whose water have mineral and medicinal properties, along with the Thermalia Museum, which houses works by Picasso and Manolo Hugué. The Raspall Trail shows the town planning and Art Nouveau architecture of towns such as La Garriga, Cardedeu and L’Ametlla del Vallès, which were the summer residences of the Barcelona middle class a century ago. Another track, this time dedicated to speed, is the Circuit de Catalunya, a must-see for racing fans. Home to the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix and the MotoGP Catalunya Grand Prix, it opens all year round to offer a variety of activities for all ages.
