Between the rivers Ter and Llobregat, between the plain and the Pyrenees, El Lluçanès has constituted a stopping place for migratory herds since time immemorial. Today, the paths that crisscross the region are short and long hike trails, nature trails and mountain bike trails. For those who enjoy agritourism, there is a fine network of accommodation in farmhouses, barns and manor houses where you can get in touch with nature and people. Near Lluçà Castle are two Romanesque jewels: the round church of Sant Vicenç and the Augustinian church of Santa Maria, with interesting capitals and murals from the fourteenth century. Merlès Stream, which describes a valley that is as beautiful as it is wild, is an otter reserve and where legend says the witches gathered.

Some of the most striking Romanesque heritage in Catalonia, built between the twelfth and thirteenth centuries, awaits visitors in El Lluçanès at a unique site: cloister, paintings and anthropomorphic tombs.

The Prats de Lluçanès route, in Osona, offers a wide range of orienteering activities. There are three levels of difficulty and the course offers an ideal setting to learn, engage in sport, enjoy the surroundings and have a good time.

El Lluçanès mountain bike centre offers eight routes with different levels of difficulty and a total of 220 signposted kilometres. It also provides services for holiday cyclists such as bicycle hire and showers.
